DOUBLE PROMOTION.

What do you think about ''DOUBLE PROMOTION'' ?

Double promotion simply means, promoting your child from one class to another without he/she writing a promotional examination.

Now, the decision of double promoting a child always come from parents who believe their children are over performing in class and needs a double promotion to move to the next class without considering the effects that may have on the child.

A child who must get a double promotion must be able to do the following:

1. have a good learning aptitude and a reasoning skill should draw from the class teacher's observation as well as testing result.

2. have a standard general academic skills.

3. have the ability to tolerate academic pressure and cope with an increased academic workload.

4. enjoy learning new things.

When a child has the above qualities,then he/she can then be considered for a double promotion.

Even though many people skip grades in school, few people are neutral on the subject, especially if they skipped a grade themselves.

Despite the positive evidence on grade-skipping, however, the number of students who are academically ready to grade skip is much larger than the actual number of students that utilize this opportunity. This has cost for both schools and students.
