Teacher who walks 42km to class rewarded with a standing fan.
A teacher in the Tolon District of
the Northern Region who reportedly walks 42km in order to go to work and teach
his pupils has been rewarded with a standingfan. The fan, given in
appreciation of Awudu Kombian's dedicated service, was presented to him at the
parade to mark Ghana's 61st Independence anniversary which was held on March 6,
2018. Mr Kombian teaches at the Warvi D/A primary school where he travels 42
kilometres to reach in order to prepare the pupils forlessons.
